This one hour class offers participants the opportunity to learn about the chant of noh and qualify them to participate in ongoing instruction with certified master instructors.

Conducted by John Oglevee this class offers participants the opportunity to learn about the basic aspects of the practice of utai, or noh chant
Upon completion of this class, participants are eligible to sign up for private lessons with either professional performers of the Kita-school, or Kita-school licensed teachers from Theatre Nohgaku.
All materials including digital files of utai-bon (chant scores) and recordings of the chant by the professional instructors will be available for download
A 30 minute Q&A follows the hour long introductory class
If the scheduled times for the intro class are inconvenient, a private class can be arranged for an additional fee
Payments are non-refundable, but can be transferred to a later appointment if your schedule changes.
