Gushirin Dubash

GULSHIRIN DUBASH is originally from Bombay, India. Having gotten her MFA in Ensemble-based Physical Theatre from the Dell’Arte School of Physical Theatre she works with the pedagogy of theatre practitioner Jacques Lecoq (physical theatre, commedia dell’arte, melodrama, clown, street theatre, devised work) and has performed at several festivals and institutions in India and the US.

JOYCE S. LIM from Malaysia, was introduced to noh in 2004 while on an Asian Public Intellectuals Fellowship to Japan. She studied kotsuzumi and otsuzumi with the late Kama Mitsuo; taiko with Sakurai Hitoshi; and shimai and utai with Richard Emmert and Oshima Kinue.

Mariko Anno

MARIKO ANNO holds a Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology from Tokyo University of the Arts (Tokyo Geijutsu Daigaku) and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Flute Performance and Literature, with a minor in Ethnomusicology, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her research explores the musical aspects of traditional and contemporary noh.

A native of York County, Pennsylvania, he is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has studied noh with Richard Emmert since 2006. He served as the Producing Director for the Noh Training Project 2007.
